Working Principle of Roller Veneer Drying
The veneer dryer is driven by the chain to run the upper and lower rollers, relying on the upper roller to press the veneer to run. At the same time, the rollers can transfer the heat to the wet veneer to help remove the moisture content out of the fresh wood veneer. Biomass combustion furnace is used to burn wood chips, waste wood, tree barks and other materials at a very high temperature to generate the smoke gas to heat the flue and heat exchangers. Then the hot air blowers intake the hot air emitted from heat exchangers to the jet boxes and finally blow to the surface and back of the fresh veneer. This directly burning waste wood fire to heat air is the direct heat exchange, no heat loss. While steam or oil is indirect heat exchanging with heat loss around 30%.
